Airport Guide
| AIRPORT AMENITIES Whether you arrive at Muskegon County
Airport by air or automobile, you immediately notice something special. The airport
terminal building completed in 1994 was designed for maximum comfort and convenience. The
building's gracefully curving skylights and open areas provide a light airy environment
for area travelers. The efficient design makes it an easy place to catch a flight for
business or pleasure.

The Brownstone Restaurant is a dramatic departure from the
traditional fare found at most airports, offering fresh pasta dishes, soups, deli
sandwiches, as well as a full dinner menu. If you are in Muskegon for business, why not meet at the Brownstone. The
Lake Michigan conference room holds up to 50 people, while the smaller Mona Lake conference
room accomodates up to 6 people. Catering is also available from the Brownstone. The Brownstone is open M-Th 11-8, Fri and Sat 11-10 and Sun 11-4. Their phone number is (231) 798-2273. |
If you've got a little work to do or phone calls to make before you catch
your flight, the Knoll Business Center is the place for you. Located across the concourse from The Brownstone Restaurant, the Knoll Business Center is equipped with two comfortable and private work stations. Wireless internet is available free of charge throughout the entire terminal. |
As you stroll through the terminal building, you'll notice several
striking art pieces on display. In the main concourse, ticketing areas and baggage pickup
areas are three brushed aluminum sculptures by Kirk Newman of Kalamazoo, Michigan. The
graceful sculptures titled Boarding, Takeoff and Landing depict human figures in motion.
Also in the main concourse is an original oil painting by artist Jon MacDonald of Grand
Rapids, Michigan. The untitled painting depicts a young man gazing skyward as if dreaming
of flight. Passengers waiting in the departure lounge can reflect upon the graceful curves
of the sculpture entitled "Arcs of the Concorde" by Harold Linton of Detroit,
Michigan.
